Biography

Natasha Anne Bedingfield was born on 26 November 1981 in Lewisham, London. She is a singer and songwriter who started out in the 1990s with the Christian dance group "The DNA Algorithm" together with her siblings Daniel Bedingfield and Nikola Rachelle. Up until the early 2000s, Natasha recorded rock and gospel songs for the Hillsong London Church.

Natasha recorded her first album in 2004, titled "Unwritten". The album consisted of up-tempo pop songs and was influenced by R&B; it achieved success worldwide with over 2.5 million copies sold. In 2007, Natasha received a Grammy Award nomination for "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance" related to her album "Unwritten". Her second album "N.B." which was released in 2007 featured the future singles of "I Wanna Have Your Babies", "Say It Again" and "Soulmate"; she has achieved five UK top ten singles to date.

She is also noted for her efforts towards humanitarian causes worldwide, including her work with the "Stop the Traffik" campaign which is run by her Mother, Molly.
